This December, the Salt Lake office’s Sub for Santa efforts raised more than $2,200 for The Road Home, an agency of the United Way of Salt Lake that provides support and shelter for families. In addition to the cash donations, three car-loads worth of donations were delivered to the facility including:

  • winter coats
  • clothing
  • gloves
  • hats
  • blankets
  • sheets
  • pillows
  • towels
  • food
  • toys and games
  • hygiene products

The bake sale raised more than $1,000. Additionally, CHG’s accounts receivable team raised $511 with the pancake breakfast on December 15. And CHG’s facilities team once again donated the rebate from the vending machines sales to Sub for Santa. This year, that added $684 to the effort.

These donations were used to purchase additional donations for The Road Home, including $785.57 for additional pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, hygiene products, toys and games. Additionally, CHG was able to purchase nearly $1,000 worth of additional canned goods and peanut butter from Nicholas and Company at the wholesale cost of $500 with the help of Michelle Diamant, a talent acquisition specialist for CHG.  CHG also provided the Salvation Army with a check in the amount of $1,033.64 for additional Sub for Santa items.
