December’s Healthcare Traveler issue awards their outstanding travelers and recruiters of 2009, and several award winners have ties to the CHG family of companies. Michele Kluger (RN Network), Brian Mouradian (RN Network), and Filipe Nunes (Foundation Medical Staffing) all received Recruiter of the Year recognition. Foundation Medical Staffing, Foundation Rehab Staffing and RN Network also had travelers receive recognition as Travelers of the Year.

National Medical Staff Services Awareness Week (November 1-7) promotes awareness of all the medical services professionals—the experts in provider credentialing and privileging, medical staff organization, accreditation and regulatory compliance, and provider relations in the diverse healthcare industry.

At CHG, we have about 72 employees involved in medical staff services and credentialing. This includes the teams at the following divisions: CompHealth locum tenens, CompHealth allied health staffing in Salt Lake City, Destination Healthcare Staffing, CompHealth allied health staffing in Grand Rapids, Weatherby Locums, RN Network and Foundation Medical Staffing. Additionally, this includes our Credentials Verification Organization (CVO), which serves most of CHG’s divisions as well as clients throughout the country. The CVO is nationally certified through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

Through the efforts of our medical staff services and credentialing employees to credential and monitor the ongoing competence of physicians and healthcare professionals, we are able to ensure the quality of care we bring to communities.
